CAN’T SLEEP – exhibition

October 26 – November 17, 2024

Post Office Gallery, Margate

In collaboration with Projects Kavel Rafferty

CAN’T SLEEP brought together cloth works and works on paper developed through the use of domestic and reclaimed materials. Blankets, linens, and fabric remnants were reassembled into compositions that operate between abstraction and bodily reference.

The works attend to sleep states of interruption, restlessness and heightened awareness. Using material familiarity, associations with rest, comfort, and disturbance are present through structure, surface, and rhythm.
