WHAT HANDS AND FINGERS 2018
From the ‘Flannels’ series of smaller abstract textile studies that use tiny leftovers and domestic scraps, referencing the touch of clothing and textile memories.
Needlepunch applique and embroidery on wool flannel. Linen and commercial wool fringing and woven scraps, with wool felt, yarns and cotton threads. Stitch mounted on acid free board.
Artwork 420mm x 420mm. Board 500mm x 500mm.
